Fits like a glove, but I’ll probably mount it a little farther forward to maintain airflow. I’m hoping to mount it in a semi-removable way by cutting up a grill replacement. I only had one night race last season, but sorely needed some extra light for it.
The lightbar was cheap and part of a Cyber Monday deal, so I'm not expecting much, but it should be a fun project.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

10/10 Hoffs would approve.
This is not the Gif I was looking for, but it sure is the one I found.

This reminds me of a first gen (‘05-’09ish) Chrysler 300 I saw. It had the corny aftermarket mesh grill installed....and one of those bad boys behind it!! It was so bad it was good.

Oh, we all know you have lusty feelings for the Mercury Sable look...

It would be cool if you fully filled it, B3 Passat style.

It makes the Neon look like a deranged killer.
I mean that in a good way.
Never heard of a night rallycross, but that sounds fun.

Kinda digging it
Also, am I the only one who thinks that those long rectangular holes in truck bumpers are made just for light bars? Except they’ve been doing those holes longer than light bars have been a thing, so that can’t be it. Hmm...

Surely you can get a licence plate light mount like this one in the US?

It’s tough, but a fun challenge. We ran the same course during the day to minimize incidents. My times were a few seconds slower at night. I can live without the lights, but it will be a cheap, fun project.

That interests me. I don't know how aggressively the front plate laws are enforced here, though.

Front plate remains in place. The light mount sandwiches between the plate and the bumper.

Almost as if refreshing, cooling air might pass through the hole

Nah, that can’t be it. Got any other crazy theories?

Easier to create anthropomorph ic cartoons based on the vehicle if the vehicle already has a mouth?
